Alright. We need some names here. The shorter longer box is going to be Gold 1, and the taller box to the left of it will be Gold 2.

As for the rest of this area its kind of a mess at this point. This was my first attempt and I was definitely lacking the energy to do much with it. Kind of looking forward to starting over with it.

I guess since this was the first area I planted here I will call this Genesis. Only those portions next to the porch though. Where I started going alongside the sidewalk heading out into the yard I will give a different name in a different part of the website.

To be completely transparent here, I don’t even know what all is growing in Genesis. I have potatoes on the left half of it. And radishes mixed in. I also think there are a couple of squash plants in there also.

So here is the story on Genesis.

I had a ton of old seeds. Like really old. Anywhere between five to fifteen years old. So I knew the germination would not be good on them. They were seeds my wife had purchased in that life long before she passed. And she had bought a ton of them. So I started out working this area with those seeds. And because I was barely into this project I would go out and dig about a square foot and plant some seeds. No labels, cause I can remember all this stuff right?! 😂 I guess I must have been feeling optimistic.

Anyway, after knowing nothing about gardening except “seeds and dirt ug!” I really ended up with a random area of things sprouting.

Radishes did come up pretty well. There seem to be squash plants here and there. I planted lots of tomato and pepper seeds. But only see a few peppers coming up. Lets see if I have a more up to date picture.
